The LTC-1142 combines an ultra-fast laser diode driver and a highly stable TEC/Peltier controller.

The controller allows simultaneous laser diode current controlling, sampling and thermoelectric cooling. The onboard signal generator makes an external signal source obsolete. Synchronous laser diode current measurement, sampling (ADC) and onboard digital signal processing make the controller suitable for laser excited measurement applications. Custom waveforms can be defined using lookup tables.

The comprehensive software allows the configuration of the device in an intuitive, graphical way. Output monitoring is possible using the DSO functionality. See datasheet for complete feature overview.
